We love our CSA farm. Really we’re so in love. Check out Red Fire Farm and if you’re in western Massachusetts (Granby and Montague) you might consider a visit. Yummy organic produce and personality! Our farm share distribution began last week and we indulged in some pick your own strawberries on Saturday. Hard work, let me tell you, but a real treat to see where your food comes from and to be so intimate with it. Not to mention the opportunity to practice yoga on a farm! There are some great positions one must get in to pick strawberries!
All this picking got us thinking about our farmers and the gratitude we have for their amazing work. Thank you so much for picking for us and keeping us so healthy. Your work matters! You are what you do—here’s a good reminder of how important our actions are.
We send so much appreciation and gratitude to the farmers and farm workers out there!
What do you have gratitude for today?

On a logistical, unrelated note, I hear I’ve made a mistake! Totally fine (and please keep the comments coming…feedback is the key to success!), because what I know for sure is that mistakes bring us closer to our core, our true selves! As long as our intentions are clear and good, all works out! Every time we have the opportunity to make a mistake, it gives us a chance to be redirected back to who we are; a chance to try again. A great moment! Mistakes are so good for our learning! I digress….What I neglected to do in my launch post was let you all know my posting schedule to keep you coming back! Apologies! But, admittedly, I am not sure how this blog space will evolve. I do, however, commit to posting at least once a week. The posting day is still to be determined!
Thanks for your patience as this space evolves--a work in progress, much like all beings and things in life!
This picture gives you a sense of how much we picked on Saturday!

ReplyDeleteLove this post! I've been blogging for several years and I'm still waiting for my blog to fall into a rhythm. I'm starting to think that no rhythm is my rhythm!
